Job Description
As a Software Engineer I, you will collaborate with the Post-Trade division to develop tools for managing the firm’s middle and back-office functions, including P&L management, reconciliation, compliance, and regulatory reporting. Your role involves working with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Post-Trade Platform tools for trade capture, reconciliation, P&L, and compliance.
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve middle-office and back-office applications.
- Utilize Python, Java, SQL, and Linux for software development and system management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Programming Skills – Strong knowledge of Java and Python for backend development.
- Database Expertise – Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) & NoSQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch).
- System & Scripting – Proficiency in Linux environments and Shell scripting.
- Problem-Solving – Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Financial Knowledge (Bonus) – Understanding of equities, commodities, interest rates, cryptocurrencies, and options is a plus.
Salary Details
The total compensation for the Software Engineer I position ranges between ₹44-54 LPA, which includes:
- Base Salary: ₹30 LPA
- Signing Bonus: ₹6 LPA
