About the Role
NCR ATM Recycler and Deposit devices include advanced Bill Validator modules powered by Currency Template software. This software analyzes currency note images to identify authenticity and detect counterfeit notes.
The role involves working on image attribute analysis, software design and implementation, simulation testing, and validation on target hardware platforms. Development is carried out using in-house tools along with C++ for multiple ATM devices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop high-quality software under the guidance of senior developers and technical leads
• Analyze and process data to identify effective technical solutions
• Design, implement, and test software components for ATM currency validation systems
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in peer reviews for template software updates
• Estimate development timelines with support from senior team members
• Collaborate effectively with developers, QA teams, and technical leads
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure all deliverables meet customer quality and satisfaction standards
