Job Overview
Nokia’s MN RAN Cloud Platform HW Department focuses on the integration and verification of Cloud Hardware solutions. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of embedded software components, working closely with leading technology partners like Dell and HPE.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software components and drivers.
- Work with Cloud HW embedded software solutions.
- Collaborate with technical leaders and product owners to design, develop, and test software functionalities.
- Participate in software development lifecycle, including troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization.
- Ensure high-quality standards in software development and integration.
- Contribute to technical studies and research in emerging technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B.Tech, M.Sc., or B.S. in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python, and Bash.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux (including kernel and driver development preferred).
- Networking Knowledge: Understanding of IP networks, Ethernet, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, and other protocols.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with Intel x86-based cloud hardware architecture, cloud management interfaces (IPMI, Redfish, RESTful APIs).
- Embedded Systems: Knowledge of BMC, BIOS, uBoot, FPGA, PCIe controller, CPLD firmware, etc.
- Mobile Networks: Familiarity with 4G and 5G architectures.
